Thread Pitch Gauge (ver 1.0) Manual

In Smart Ruler Pro, there is a thread pitch feature for screws, nuts and bolts. Some users required an independent app.

So I developed thread pitch gauge app for the experts of engineering that had a paper to measure the thread pitch.

It supports US(15 ea.) and Metric(8 ea.) Thread Sizes.

* Menu > Settings
  - change the background color.
  - Meters, Inches support

  - The height of the screen will be entered according to your model number. More than 200 devices had been registered. (96% of the android devices in the world)

Statistic Menu and save Log (at Sound Meter Pro)

Many users required save log feature. So I updated the Statistic menu.(Aug. 2010)

The below statistic chart shows the rate of each values and it could be saved. It will be helpful to analyze the sound(vibration).

Some user want to see the chart by time. It already was added in the main page.(click the small chart icon above the reference.)

Metal Detector (ver 1.2)

This app is a tool to measure Magnetic field values using the magnetic sensor that is built into the phone.Magnetic field level in nature is about 49-50μT (490mG). If there is any metal around it, the values can be increased.

If the measured value is not accurate, initialize the sensor. In v1.2, the calibration menu was added in order to set the current value as the default settings.


* The color grades of chart
① Green : Magnetic field level in nature within tolerance.
② Blue : Level is too low. Sensor might be weakened due to phone heating and age. You should cool down your phone.
③ Red : Level is too high. There is a metal object nearby. If the value is very high(+170μT), vibration occurs. To stop it, click the stop icon. You can turn on the alarm sound with settings.


* How to use it ???
  - Just open this app, and move it around. The values will be changed. That's it.
  - The magnetic sensor responds to electronic products (TV, PC) due to electromagnetic waves.
  - To initialize the magnetic sensor, point your phone up towards the sky and move it in a figure 8 pattern.

* If it does not work properly...
  - I found several devices have no magnetic sensor. Please verify its specifications.
  - Sometimes, a leather case with a magnetic "snap" can cause unwanted results.
  - Otherwise, your built-in magnetic sensor is weakened or out of order.
  - In this case, Rebooting or Factory reset will be helpful to initialize it.

Smart Flashlight (ver 1.0) manual

This month, I published Flashlight app, that is part 5. of Smart Tools about light.

There are already many famous flashlight apps. But because many my users wanted to integrate flashlight into Smart Tools, I had to develope it. After test for 1 month, I'll add it into Smart Tools for free.

Flashlight is just 2 features. I think it will be enough.

- LED light : If your phone has camera LED, you can turn on the LED as a torch.

- Screen light : you can turn your screen into a brilliant light source. It is enough to find your way in the dark.



* There are 900+ android devices in the world. I tested it on 80+ devices. But on several devices, it did not work properly due to the different camera modules. Please let me know it, I'll try to support as many devices as possible.

Terminal LW Modes pt 1

Clock mode

1. Set font to Android Nation
2. Set font size to 100 (adjust to screen resolution)
3. Set Input command "date" (only this command)
4. Set Word Wrap to true
5. Set font colour, custom image and colour filter (optional)

Terminal LW Modes pt 2

Alien mode

1. Set odd looking font, like Alpha Sentury
2. Font size ~140 (more or less)
3. Word wrap true
4. Custom background
5. Set background color filter to black with small transparency (this makes a darker image background)
6. Set font color to gray
7. Put many input commands

Statistics update

I want to share with you current status of my apps available on Google Play Store.
So far I got 3 live wallpapers published and im somewhat happy with their current statuses. Lets check each one of them separately:

WoT Tanks Live Wallpaper

My first published live wallpaper and most successful also. So far i got 25,088 total user installs, 207/298 rating five stars, with average rating being 4.35! Wow, i must say im very pleased with this statistic.

Guild Wars 2 Live Wallpaper

First time published in December 2012. So far I got 1,252 total user installs with average rating 3.25. Not very high if you ask me, but I hope it will be better over time.

Terminal Live Wallpaper

My latest wallpaper, published in January 2013. Im satisfied with its progress so far and i think it could be a big hit (if geeks wake up and start to rate it :) ). In this period it was installed 329 times, and so far has average rating of 5, but only from 3 votes.


But that's not all folks, currently im working on some new stuff which will soon or later be live on Google Play Store. Some of it will have to wait till im able to monetize it trough direct selling when my country becomes supported by Google Play (This is too good to be completely free ;) .

Expect more and better stuff soon.
